Chemist/Chemical Engineer R&D

Your areas of responsibility:

• Play a vital role in driving product development projects, product modifications, administrate product formulations and contribute to the profitability and competitiveness of our product portfolio.
• Planning and execution of product development initiatives in collaboration with product management.
• Giving advice and suggest resolutions to issues within product quality in relation to application or production, evaluation of new or alternative raw materials as examples.
• Build and leverage internal networks within FUCHS
• Participate in external technical forums to expand your knowledge base
• Provide essential product support to customers

Qualifications we are looking for:

• University degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
• Several years of experience in a relevant industry or role
• A deep interest in chemistry and curiosity how industrial lubricants are used by our customers.
• Good knowledge and understanding of customer needs
• Previous experience in product development of industrial chemical products is valuable
• The ability to make prioritizations and resolve issues effectively and with clarity.
• Since the role involves close collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders, you are comfortable reaching out to other people and can quickly build a network of personal relations.
• a strong inner drive to achieve goals, and drive projects and tasks to completion according to plan. 
• This role requires that you speak and write English and Swedish fluently.
