To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
Operations Finance Analyst (m/f/d)
in fulltime and permanent in our European Headquarters in Düsseldorf.
Your tasks
-
Key contact person for CAPEX spend and planning across all of our European locations, working with Plants Managers, other Senior Management and Plant Controllers to create a best in class CAPEX planning and tracking model

Collaborate with department heads and senior management to prepare the annual operations budget, aligning it with strategic goals and financial targets.

Working with plant controllers to review plant production costs, profit/ loss and consolidation the month end information.

Assist in preparing weekly forecasts, analyzing trends and the analysis of deviations and derivation of countermeasures and recommendations for action, while being able to understand, explain and reconcile financial variances

Cross functional teamwork, creating financial models while working with EHS & ESG as we continually strive to increase our sustainability as a company.

Monitor and track capital spending against approved budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and providing analysis to explain deviations.

Active further development of analysis tools and processes.

Oversee the CAPEX approval process, from preparing investment proposals to presenting them to decision-makers.
You are...
- smart? You have a degree in finance and have already gained 1-3 years of professional experience in a comparable finance role. In addition, you are confident in using SAP and common Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel. You have a high degree of understanding and experience in cost accounting, standard setting and variance analysis.
- driven? Standing still is a foreign concept for you and you have a natural ability to influence others and a function as a partner. You are energetic, resourceful, hands-on and result-driven.
- real? You inspire internally and externally with your friendly, well-organized and confident manner. You possess excellent written/oral communication skills, as well as the ability to present your views in clear and compelling manner, be it in German or in English.
