If you really want to make a difference – make it with us

Siemens Mobility  is a separately managed company of Siemens AG and has been a leading supplier in the field of mobility for over 160 years. Our core business includes rail vehicles, rail automation and electrification solutions, turnkey systems and related services. We have always been very innovative in making traveling faster, safer and more comfortable. Today, we need new solutions to new challenges such as climate change and rising populations worldwide. That's what drives us. That's why we shape mobility with passion, always being one step ahead. Through digitalization, we make infrastructures smart and create opportunities that get us from A to B sustainably and seamlessly. Our 39,800 employees are pioneers in mobility who help to keep the world moving.

What do you contribute?

Our trains accelerate to top speeds of up to 360 km/h - in your new role, you will ensure that the vehicles come to a safe and efficient stop.

  • For this, you will define the project-specific architecture of the brake system based on the customer's tender.
  • You will coordinate the integration of the brake control functions in terms of function, hardware and software in a rail transport vehicle.
  • You will present the braking system to our customers and be the contact person for technical questions.
  • As part of the quotation team, you will also prepare the calculations and the customer quotation.
  • Last but not least, you will continuously expand your system knowledge and component expertise with regard to braking systems (hardware/software) for rail transport vehicles and the interfaces to other trades.

What do you bring along?

  • The basis of your success is a completed technical master's degree.
  • You have an affinity for hardware and software and have professional experience in the field of rail vehicle technology, e.g. as an engineer or technical PL - preferably in the field of pneumatic or hydraulic braking systems.
  • You are interested in technical quotation and project processing.
  • You are used to thinking outside the box and have already successfully demonstrated your analytical thinking skills in cross-system contexts.
  • As we operate in an international environment, you communicate confidently in German and English.
  • If you also impress us personally with your open manner and approach problems actively and independently, then we look forward to receiving your application.
