Role Description

This Job is based in Hannover Region as a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Engineer with focus on Optoelectronics.

You will be responsible for

Assist superiors and complete matters assigned by superiors;
The central contact person for sales technical tasks and the core technology window with customers
Have technical leadership responsibility for the sales team
Detailed planning and tracking of sales technical activities
Support bidding for new project opportunities, be responsible for coordinating technical solutions and assisting with quotations
Technical risk management: early identifies project problematic parameters and arrange appropriate measures
Lead and promote technology-related improvement measures and their implementation within the project team
Support the overall project planning and operation of the project manager
Regularly report project R&D progress to customers and provide on-site technical support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Optical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
Experience in the optoelectronics or automotive industry is a plus
Knowledge of relevant software and hardware
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong results- and self- driven skills
Motivated in learning new technologies and products
Willing to travel
Business fluent in English and Chinese, other languages is a plus
