Our Operations team is looking for a result driven Operations support officer to join HFC. The ideal candidate will have experience across contract and project environment, including reports, RFC’s and contract management

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Operations support officer is the right hand of the Operations Director. The role ensures the implementation of project/process monitoring, in which all parties involved can adequately fulfil their responsibilities locally and globally. The Operations Controller supports the business in achieving its targets by monitoring input, throughput and output using available data.

Main tasks and responsibilities are:

Contract

  • Encouraging high-quality commercial performance by understanding contractual agreements.
  • Jointly responsible for setting up requests for change (offers). Also, challenging the Area Manager on the provided information and, if necessary, complete the requests. This applies to both the offers from the suppliers to HFC and the offers from HFC to their clients.
  • Track changes in the handover document (changes come from a change request).
  • Supporting Operations globally with the process of setting up and reviewing KPI's for suppliers.
  • Support with compiling the monthly management reports.
  • Supporting the implementation of savings opportunities to maximize HFC and customers' financial savings goals.
  • Continuously develop systems (signalling role).
  • Checking and challenging requests for change against the contract.
  • central point of contact for collecting and sending dashboards in the agreed timeframe to the clients.
  • Sending updated dashboards to client and HFC Operations Director.
  • Taking minutes of Operational meetings and following up on actions.
  • Supporting role in project-based activities.
  • Providing support in preparing and conducting monthly contract reviews.
  • Preparing new or updated daily sheets when necessary.

Quality

  • Supporting and developing/updating the Quality Management System.
  • Adjust templates and checklists for the Quality Management System.

Others

  • Maintaining insurance certificate overviews and following up with Area Managers on certificate issuance.
  • Updating the contract management system.
  • Maintaining and updating operational working procedures.
  • Assisting Area Managers in preparing the monthly dashboard meeting.

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

  • Education at University level (Dutch equivalent of HBO).
  • Work experience in a comparable field.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with working in a contractual environment.
  • Being able to look for process improvements continuously.
