Position Overview

Student employee for the trading team, part time 2-3 days/week, focusing on quantitative meteorological analysis. The successful candidate has a strong quantitative background, an interest in Energy Markets, Meteorology and Machine learning, and enjoys having clear responsibility for own tasks.

Responsibilities

• Structure data feed into inhouse weather database
• Utilize weather data to feed in into inhouse operational quantitative models
• Analyse weather data from Machine learning models and teleconnections to develop tradeable market signals
• Contribute with ML-methods in meteorological and energy market analysis

Qualifications

• Enrolled in master’s program in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Interest in Meteorology, Machine Learning, and statistical modelling
• Proficiency in Python
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English is a must
