As Tendering Manager for Power Plants, you will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of tenders for the core business of the Power Segment, from the engine supply project to the finished power plant as an EPC solution. You assign tasks for technical design and cost calculation to specific specialist departments in various organizational units and combine realistic planned costs and schedules into a coherent overall concept. Through your conscientious work, you enable the creation of an attractive and specific solution for our customers and achieve the approval of these projects by the respective management.

• Project manager of power plant projects and solutions with changing team members from all required areas
• Responsible for bidding complex international power projects utilizing our core gas engine products and combining them with integrated smart energy management systems
• Analysis and clarification of the customer's tender documents
• Define, plan and execute the bid strategy for the preparation of competitive bids in close cooperation with sales engineering and other related departments
• Support in the preparation of execution schedules
• Calculating the costs for the entire scope of supply and services of the offer, preparing the contribution margin calculation
• Conducting (technical) contract negotiations with the customer

You can help us with these qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, power plant engineering, industriel engineering or similar qualification
• Experience in leading teams with a responsible and collaborative working style as well as experiance in project management
• Good knowledge of plant construction, particulary in the power plant industry and in large diesel engines
• International attidude
• Business fluent English is mandatory and a second foreign language is desirable
• Willingness to travel and stay overseas, also for extended periods of time
• Further experience in SAP, MS-Office, Adobe Acrobat
