Your role:
The role of an MAU Consultant is to support the customer journey during the implementation of standard new payroll and HR systems, upgrading legacy systems or the addition of new features in the form of small change requests by using your knowledge and expertise to provide an excellent overall experience for the customer.
Key accountabilities:
Commercial & Sales
Actively engage in the transition of contracts from sales to implementation, ensure understanding and highlight any risks and issues.
Delivery:
Assigned to small change requests or small size simple implementations, working either as the primarily consultant or supporting a lead consultant. To ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed within contractual, time, quality and budgetary constraints. Troubleshoot simple customer issues utilising the appropriate people or resources required for a prompt resolution. Taking ownership of tasks assigned and seeing them through to the end.
Customer:
Is professional and responsive to the customers. Understand and tries to anticipate the customer needs and environment. Takes action to gain feedback via customer NPS.
KPI & Operational Plan Delivery:
Understanding of Implementation KPI's and your individual contribution and responsibily for these (timesheet submission and approval, financial forecasting, utilisation, NPS scores, Customer Compensation, Implementation status, Governance Gateways). Ensure resource profiles for your assignments are accurate and maintained allowing maximum utilisation of resource.
Ensuring SD Worx internal systems such as Kimble, Teams, Sharepoint are accurately maintained.
Implementation Methodology:
Ensure the delivery of assignments is against the SD Worx agreed implementation methodology and maintain the required quality standards. Follows standard operating procedures for delivery of SD Worx product and services."
"Product and Operational Readiness:
Ensure you have the required knowlegde of product releases, new functionality and services and consider impact on your small changes requests and/or small projects.
Transition:
Responsible for managing the smooth transition from implementation to Operations & Support for activities you are delivering.
Continuous Improvement:
Understand learnings from consultancy delivery and make recommendation for improvements where appropriate.
Compliance:
Follow procedures within the team that satisfy company, ISO and GDPR requirements.
To comply with SD Worx Security Policies for the maintenance of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and to correct personal data.
Knowledge, Technical skills, Qualifications & Experience
Technical:
1. Basic understanding of payroll legislation via experience of contributing to running a payroll and/or qualification
2. Basic understanding of the lifecycle of processing payrolls on a periodic basis.
3. Basic understanding of required system input (essential data) and outputs (reporting).
4. Basic understanding of HR business processes.
5. Basic knowledge of excel including VLOOKUP’s and basic formulas
Knowledge & Experience:
1. Learn to communicate and articulate complex technical information to non-technical people.
2. Demonstrate the development of a critical and analytical mindset to identify customer challenge quickly and supply appropriate solutions to be implemented. Problem solving.
3. Demonstrate working to strict timescales and within the budgetary limits of the contracted work. Working within the limits of a standard project plan. Demonstrate effective personal time management.
4. Follow standard operating procedures and internal quality audit.
5. Understand and uphold defined quality standards.
6. Exhibit compliance with Security policies under ISO 27001 to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all personal data.
7. Demonstrate good business housekeeping and fulfil regular/daily administration tasks to support internal reporting and monitoring of financial and utilisation targets.
Desirable Qualities:
1. You may have some previous experience of working within a delivery methodology with another provider or consultancy which will include the following phases: Kick-off, discovery, setup, test, parallel and transition to operations.
2. Able to identify and understand examples of opportunities to continuously improve business processes or standard operating procedures for revenue growth, cost saving and organisational efficiency.
3. Previous experience in UK Legislation
