JUNIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER (F/M/D)

Your mission
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Automation Engineer to join our innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop and expand their skills in automation technology, mechatronics, and control systems. The successful candidate will be involved in building prototypes, commissioning demonstrators, and gaining hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and closed-loop control systems

 
YOUR TASK
 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build prototypes of automated systems and devices.
  • Utilize knowledge of mechatronics, electronics, and mechanical engineering principles to develop functional prototypes that meet project requirements.
  • Work closely with your team to troubleshoot issues and optimize prototype performance.
  • Assist in the commissioning and testing of automation systems and demonstrators.
  • Conduct experiments and collect data to evaluate the performance and reliability of control algorithms and hardware components.
  • Assist in the implementation and tuning of closed-loop control algorithms for regulating system behavior.
  • Participate in the debugging and refinement of systems to ensure they meet technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Gain hands-on experience with a variety of sensors and actuators used in automated systems, including but not limited to proximity sensors, encoders, motors, and pneumatic actuators.
  • Assist in the selection, installation, and calibration of sensors and actuators for specific applications.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies, including PLCs, HMI interfaces, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus).
  • Basic understanding of mechatronics principles, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Motivated to learn and expand knowledge in automation and mechatronics.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in automation (e.g., ladder logic, Python).
  • Knowledge of PID control theory and implementation.
