Purchaser (m/f/d)

We, leovet Dr Jacoby GmbH & Co. KG, are a family-run company and market-leading manufacturer of

manufacturer of medical products, cosmetic products, care products and nutritional supplements for horses.

Development and production take place at the Lahnau site and cover a broad product portfolio. Our site is conveniently located just 3 km from the A45 motorway.

Our team has been growing continuously since our foundation in 1982 and consists of employees of all ages, some of whom have been with the company for a very long time.

Your tasks will include

• As an operative purchaser (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the entire purchasing process for raw materials, packaging and cardboard packaging as well as merchandise and services

• Taking over the solicitation, evaluation and selection of offers as well as renegotiations

• Conducting contract and price negotiations in a national and international environment

• You define strategic purchasing processes in a targeted manner and implement them

• Developing supplier strategies on the basis of global procurement market research

• Disposition of inventories and monitoring of reorder levels

• You will be responsible for the entire supplier management, including risk and complaints management

• Processing and monitoring of order and delivery deadlines

 

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, a bachelor's degree in business administration or have a comparable qualification

• Sound professional experience in purchasing, preferably in the above-mentioned area of responsibility

• Your proactive and structured way of working, strong communication skills, assertiveness and team spirit are convincing on a personal level

• We require business fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
