The tasks

To ensure the growth targets are met, the company is extending its global production capacity. The company is aiming to hire an experienced Business Development Manager (m/f/d) with a wide expertise and network within the battery and eMobility industry.

  • Responsible for Business Development, Sales and Account Management in Europe, focusing on electric vehicle OEM and major battery corporations
  • Responsible for commercial proposals and coordination of different workstreams inside the company (e.g., technical evaluation, sustainability proof, manufacturing readiness, quality audit, profitability evaluation …)
  • Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions and fairs; increase premium brand awareness
    Strategic sales planning & forecasting
  • Based on customer inside knowledge and together with the various departments (R&D, sustainability, raw material sourcing, …), this role detects future trends and proposes new requirements within the automotive battery industry

Your profile

  • Several years’ experience is sales management at a serial supplier for the automotive industry with a focus on battery cells or packs/modules
  • Degree in business administration and/or engineering
  • Enjoy work in an international environment, willing to travel up to 30% of your time
  • English fluently, a second language is a plus
  • Open minded and relationship oriented, with a structured and analytical way of working, excellent communication and negotiation capabilities complete your soft skills
  • Passionate about electrification, battery technology and the need to make the battery value chain more sustainable
