If so, we invite you to consider joining our Offshore Sales Team as a Senior Service Sales Manager!

 

At Service Sales Offshore, Northern Central Europe, we play a critical role in the renewable energy sector. Our mission is to ensure revenue growth by securing service and maintenance agreements for new wind farms and extending existing contracts. As a Senior Sales Service Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our efforts to shape the future of sustainable energy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing Service Sales Strategies: Develop and deliver innovative service sales strategies aligned with business goals. Identify growth opportunities and promote revenue through service offerings.

  • Tender Responses and Negotiations: Lead or participate in preparing tender responses and proposals. Drive negotiations for service agreements, ensuring favourable terms for both parties.

  • Contractual and Summary Documents: Prepare clear and concise contractual documents. Summarise complex terms and conditions for easy understanding.

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain solid customer relationships during tender and negotiation phases. Evaluate customer requests and needs, ensuring timely and effective responses.

  • Presentations and Lessons Learned: Head or participate in presentations of Service Sales concepts to existing and new customers. Facilitate knowledge sharing within the department by capturing lessons learned.

  • Concept Development and Improvement: Facilitate the development and enhancement of Service Sales concepts; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine service offerings.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or a related field and additionally holds a relevant contractual, commercial, or technical education.

  • Experience: Solid professional experience in sales and customer management in Offshore within an international corporation plus a proven negotiation track record.

  • Leadership: Capacity to inspire and motivate internal sales teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives performance and achieves sales targets

  • Strategic Mindset: Structured thinking with attention to detail and quality. Interest in complex agreements and willingness to explore innovative solutions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to identify, prioritize, and effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management on both customer and Vestas side. This includes the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and effectively convey complex information.

  • Strong Communicator: Proficient communication skills to engage with customers, internal and external project teams, and other stakeholders. Ability to network within and outside the company, establish and maintain trust-based customer relationships.

  • Owner and Independent Worker: Comfortable working both collaboratively and individually; Enjoys contributing to team growth.

  • Cost Analysis: Scrutinise cost bases to optimise service offerings.

  • Operational Experience: Previous experience handling service orders (internally or externally) as a Service Manager or Contract Manager; Implementation of contracts is a plus.

  • Sales Acumen: Familiarity with sales (incl. governance) processes and customer-centric approaches.
