Content Manager - Corporate Communications

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Content Manager to join our Corporate Communications team as a substitute during parental leave. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the maintenance and development of the ESMT Berlin website, ensuring it continuously evolves to provide an exceptional user experience (UX) and enhanced search engine optimization (SEO). You will work closely with an agency to manage the website and introduce new features, while leading a team of internal key stakeholders to keep our content up-to-date and engaging.

Content Manager

(m/f/x, 35 hours per week, to start mid-June 2024)

• Lead website content projects from conception to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, impactful results.
• Drive the development and maintenance of the ESMT website, ensuring it serves as a dynamic platform for showcasing our business school and initiatives.
• Develop and curate engaging written content for the website, ensuring consistency with our brand voice and storytelling objectives.
• Collaborate closely with our web development agency to manage tickets and implement new features, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead a team of key stakeholders to effectively use and maintain website content, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Implement regular quality assurance processes to uphold website standards and user satisfaction.
• Develop training material and conduct regular workshops to empower website editors with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Continuously optimize web content to enhance user experience (UX) and improve search engine optimization (SEO).
• Maintain and structure the intranet to enhance the organization’s knowledge base and facilitate internal communication.
• Oversee the maintenance of our internal photo database, ensuring it remains organized, up-to-date, and accessible for various projects and initiatives.

• Strong writing and creative skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that drives engagement and action.
• Experience in website management and content development, with a keen eye for design and user experience.
• Proficiency in content management systems (experience with Drupal is a plus) and digital marketing tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on delivering measurable impact.
• Proven, strong language skills in German and English.
