Position Description

You will be part of the clinical support Laboratory in Hilden and these are some of your day to day tasks
* Development of new comparator Assays for clinical studies:
- Optimization of new assays
- Method Validation of these assays
- Creation of Validation documentation and Standard Operation procedures
 
* Execution of clinical comparative assays in medium to High throughput
- Sample logistics
- Sample and result processing based on defined SOPs
- Documentation and reporting of results on a regular basis to the clinical study lead
- Troubleshooting of unexpected results
 
* Administrative tasks
- Equipment qualification
- Ordering of reagents and materials

Position Requirements
* Master of Science Degree in Biology or equivalent
* Experience in manual and automated sample preparation techniques
* Experience in development and validation of digital PCR or Sanger Bi-Directional sequencing PCR Assay as clinical comparator method
* Willingness to work in a BSL3** laboratory with pathogens as well as patient samples
* A team player who understands that precision and quality are mandatory in clinical support studies
