In your new role you will:
- Be responsible for designing complex automotive SoC designs in a multi-site organization covering all aspects of Physical SoC Design.
- Translate requirements into layout specifics using our state-of-the-art EDA tools and flows.
- Work independently on SoC as Physical design owner right from spec definition till tapeout
- Tap your experience to contribute significantly to the hierarchical SoC architecture definition and implementation of clocking architectures.
- Be a member of an expert network and drive innovation, methodology and flow topics in your domain for next generation SoC Development.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with specialization in VLSI design with 15+ yrs experience
- Hands-on experience in physical design and timing closure of SoCs
- Experience of industry standard tools for physical design and signoff
- Experience in scripting languages (shell, perl, tcl) and Make flow
- Must be a good team player and should have desire to learn and explore.
- Experience in PnR closure of multimillion gate designs in 28nm or below.
- Experience in Padring Design,Bump planning,RDL routing,Wire Bond design exposure,Esd Planning,Die size estimation,& Top level Floor planning
- Expertise in Partition shapes, pins and feedthrough planning.
- Building Clock tree at the SoC level and resolving partition interface timing issues.
- Integrating all Partitions and closing design.
- Ensure IP integration guidelines are followed(reviewed along with IP owners)
- Running SoC level IR/EM analysis, debugging and fixing.
- Running SoC level Physical verification, debugging and fixing.
- Chip finishing, metal fill, Sealring and Tapeout
- Partition PnR of multimillion instance designs with good command over congestion resolution, timing and clocktree debug.
- Experience of handling multi-Power domain designs.
- Good interaction skills with different stakeholders managing own deliveries and asks.
