Elektor is seeking an English-speaking Electronics Engineer/Editor to join our team of imaginative content creators.  

Electronics Engineer/Editor 

As a technical editor in our Product Team you will provide valuable experience in researching electronics, reviewing book- and product proposals, and editing ideas, projects, books, and solutions. 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Review and evaluation of new product or manuscript proposals 
  • Proofreading of manuscripts in the field of electrical engineering and programming 
  • Communication with authors, experts, designers and other suppliers 
  • Recruitment of new potential authors and developers 
  • Research of new trending topics and products 

What we ask: 
 
  • You are English-speaking electronics engineer or computer scientist, a technical editor with a passion for electronics or you have a comparable education. 
  • You have a feeling for the English language and a reader´s-oriented approach. 
  • You have an interest in a wide range of electronics topics 
  • You know the electronics market 
  • Preferable: You also speak German, French, or Dutch 

What we offer: 
 
  • Job Type: Full-time (Mon-Fri, CET hours) 
  • Salary: Commensurate with experience 
  • Experience Level: 1+ years in an electronic field and 1+ years in a field with writing and editing tasks. 
  • Travel: Regular trips to Elektor’s engineering lab in Aachen, Germany or Susteren, Netherlands
