Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or higher
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and German
  • At least 2-3 years of Sales & Marketing experience in shipping, logistics, maritime and/or transportation company
  • preferably familiar with West and North Africa Market
  • No travel restrictions (be able to travel at least 3 days a week for customer visits all around Germany)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Well organized, Customer oriented and problem solver
  • Professional presence and behaviour
  • Profound knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Locates in Hamburg
Responsibilities
  • Conducting effective and productive outside sales visits to potential and key & local accounts in the market
  • Follows market developments closely and runs all the necessary marketing activities related to given marketing and sales policies, in order to reach and exceed sales goals for the service, with the aim of monitoring and improving existing and potential customer portfolio.
  • Preparing rate proposals that result from customer contact within the framework of fee schedules and agreements.
  • Monitoring work schedules to ensure balance between targeted sales and achieved sales.
  • Responsible for operational and commercial execution of the services to ensure business flow.
