In your new role you will:
- Together with the team define of the embedded software architecture for our next generation MCU-Platforms from Firmware and Low-Level Driver up to the anticipated Application Components
- Conduct feasibility studies for Software Architecture Concepts and support HW/SW Co-design activities
- Work together with internal stakeholders to elicitate the scope of the components and suggest internal development or partnering up with third parties
- Support the Platform Architect in defining the necessary hardware to support the planned software architecture
- Lead technical discussion in your field of expertise as representative of Automotive Microcontroller with the broader development community within Infineon
- Support the System Architecture of a distributed software architecture that encompasses Autosar and Non-Autosar nodes

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
- A degree in technical studies like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
- At least 6 years of professional experience in the field of automotive and embedded software engineering
- Profound knowledge with different CPU cores like RISC-V or ARM
- Proven ability to take leadership in you field of expertise
- Experience on functional safety software concepts & standards likeISO26262 and ISO21434
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken), German will be an added advantage
