Job description
Reporting to the SVP Fellow for Platform Architecture and Innovation, this position is responsible for driving Platform, Soc, and IP Architecture and design methodologies

In your new role you will:
  • Work closely with product management and customers to define Platform, SoC, and IP roadmap and requirements
  • Support business strategy with technical analysis of new markets and products
  • Establish strategic relationships with customers and vendors
  • Drive continuous improvements of design flows and work methods
  • Work closely with software team to guarantee consistent and effective hardware/software interface
  • Guide design teams productizing SoC and IP (design, verification, implementation)
  • Provide technical leadership for Centers of Excellence (CoE)
Your profile
You have strong leadership skills including excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills. This lends well towards leading and motivating successful team performance, as well as establishing strategic customer relationships.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • BSEE, MSEE (preferred)
  • 20+ years of experience in SoC, systems, and firmware
  • Platform architecture leadership experience (40nm and below)
  • Proven track record leading cross functional teams and driving hardware, software, system, features trade-offs
  • Superior analytical, prioritization and decision skills supported by continuous learning
  • High energy and can-do attitude combined with initiative and ability to organize to track and achieve stated goals

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $249,000 salary per year
Maximum of $342,400 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
