The training programme to become a Plant Technologist (m/f) is a three-year professional programme with theme-based teaching in blocks.

The professional profile of the Plant Technologist m/f/d includes the following skills, knowledge and capabilities:

• Growing, maintaining and harvesting cultivation plants for test and production purposes.
• Planning, conducting and documenting the tests and inspection series.
• Using breeding and production methods.
• Using, maintaining and servicing the machines and devices.
• Taking and analysing samples.
• Preparing work flows, working as a team, organisation,
• Using quality assurance systems.
• Using information and communication systems.

minimum prerequisite for this training programme: secondary modern school certificate.

Accommodation shall be provided on the site during the practical training programme in the company.
