Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (all genders) to actively contribute to the development of our build toolchains using the newest tools and technologies. The position will report to the Team Manager Software Development and provides an excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment. 

 

  • Design and develop platform independent concepts and automation processes
  • Optimize and enhance our software with new efficient algorithms and technologies
  • Work collaboratively in an agile development team within a continuous integration environment
  • Be responsible for ensuring efficient implementation and for code of the highest quality
  • Recommend and implement improvements to architecture/technologies to further enhance our systems and codebase regarding reliability, maintainability, scalability, and performance
  • Monitor the latest technical developments in your field and initiate improvements

 

Requirements

 

  • A university or college degree in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related subject or relevant work experience   
  • At least 3 year of experience in working with one or more of the specific platforms: Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, macOS, VisionOS, Webassembly
  • Experience in any of the following fields would be desirable: containerization, Visual Studio, GCC, Clang, Xcode
  • Knowledge of Jenkins pipelines, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes is preferred but not a must
  • Ability to understand the current toolchains and find improvements
  • Desire to test the latest compilers/tools, recognize the impact on the product and shape the introduction of these
  • Structured and analytical way of thinking/working, being a team player, as well as motivated to learn new things
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, German is a plus
