Stellenbeschreibung

AbbVie’s Finance Development Program (FDP) consists of four rotations over two years to prepare you for financial roles. The roles are crafted to help you develop exceptional functional and leadership traits by working on a wide range of projects, while providing exposure to different leaders in the company. This will develop you and put you on the fast track to future finance leadership opportunities at AbbVie.

You will have the opportunity to work within four different departments for two years, each for six months. During the first year, you will support both Operations Controlling in Ludwigshafen and Commercial Affiliate FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) in Wiesbaden. In the second year, you will have the chance to explore two further functional areas within Europe, whereof one of them will be in our Finance Shared Service Center in Krakow, Poland. Based on business needs, the fourth rotation can be carried out in area functions such as Commercial Affiliate, Treasury, Regional Headquarter or Area Corporate Financial Planning.

You will gain experience by working in a cross-functional matrix environment, building your business acumen, and participating in key training sessions. Additionally, each FDP trainee is assigned a senior leader mentor as an advocate and coach throughout your time in the development program. 

You can expect to complete four separate professional work assignments within roles such as: 

  • Commercial Affiliate Financial Planning & Analysis;
  • Manufacturing Operations Controlling and Cost Accounting;
  • Regional Headquarter or Area Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis;
  • Reporting, Accounting & Controls;
  • Treasury;

Placements will be based on business needs and are subject to change. The position is limited to a maximum of 2 years.


Qualifikationen

  • Successful completion of a master’s degree in a discipline related to finance and/or accounting, as well as strong academic performance in accounting coursework
  • Willingness to do 2 six-month rotations outside your country
  • Minimum of one internship in finance and accounting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and project management skills, e.g., leadership in school or student organization
  • Strong display of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team setting
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Data Analytics
  • Mobile post-program
  • EU Passport required
  • Fluent in English and German, proficiency in other languages is beneficial
