Logistics Coordinator

Tasks/Job description

  • Provide support to Warehousing & Shipments department :
  • The department is set up with several Shift supervisors and an administrative support team;
  • The department is responsible for all inbound and outbound flow of goods, storage of all goods as well as flow of goods in the production environment (inbound, intermediate stock and outbound);
  • Coordinating and monitoring Safety / 5S and compliance with all SHE and Quality rules in regulations in the department;
  • Follow up, formulate and help develop the operational standards in the warehouse (productivity, quality, process assurance, etc) and continuous improvement thereof (layout, flow, processes);
  • Monitoring and reporting the performance (KPI's) of the department;
  • Liaising with purchasing regarding internal transport materials for the entire plant (forklifts, reach trucks, etc).
  • Support RFQ/Tender processes for all transportation (inbound and outbound) and supplier selection from warehouse and shipments.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement of "MM" process documents (PF, WI, etc..).
  • Analyzing problem topics related blocked receipts and invoices

Profile/Profile

  • Good understanding of HSE and Quality rules in a warehouse environment;
  • Good communication skills, persuasiveness and social skills;
  • Project management skills and basic mastery of LEAN principles;
  • Good ERP knowledge (SAP is an advantage);
  • Stress resistant;
  • Team player;
  • At least a completed Bachelor degree in the relevant field of study or;
  • Work experience in Transport / Warehouse / Logistics (Automotive is a plus);
  • Good command of the English language is a must, French and German are a plus.
