Logistics Specialist (m/f/d)


We are searching for an experienced Logistics Specialist, to support developing and improving our Global Tax expertise. This position is part of the local Logistics team, based in our Distribution Centre EDC, Hamburg, reporting directly to the Logistics Admin Manager.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform daily customs clearance tasks for Coloplast and ATOS business in close collaboration with Logistics Admin team.
  • Act as single point of contact for all questions related to customs and foreign trade law in close collaboration with Global Tax and Compliance Team, including troubleshooting, unannounced customs inspections, or audits.
  • Support workload management for X-Dock area including communication with shipping, forwards, container slot management and customs release.
  • Support Dangerous Goods handling and Basedata Management
  • Perform monthly export controls for customs according to internal control schedule (system in use: Impero).
  • Stay up to date regarding customs requirements, participate in required external trainings and ensure knowledge transfer within Logistics Admin team.
  • Participate in national & international projects.


About You

  • Commercial education (Wholesale and foreign trade or similar)
  • Sound experience in customs handling (Import and export) & Foreign trade law (ideally: Specialist for customs and foreign trade)
  • Fluent in German & English, very good communication skills
  • MS Office, preferably with experience in E1 
  • Strong service orientation
  • Structured and solution-orientated way of working.
  • High reliability & personal integrity
