3D Animator / Character Artist (m/f/d) 

 

Location: On site – Munich office 

As a 3D animator / character artist, you will create 3D characters and bring game assets to life with detailed animations. You know everything about asset creation for games as well as animation requirements and use them to model, texture, rig and simulate game assets. Collaborating closely with other 3D artists, coders and game designers, you make sure that character models and animations work with all game requirements like art style, polycount, animation timing and follow high quality standards.

Your profile

​

  • Excellent 3D animation skills in a program of your choice (e.g. blender, Maya)

  • Proficient in character creation from start to finish (portfolio including stylized and realistic art styles, lowpoly and high- to lowpoly workflow)

  • Highly experienced in rigging

  • Experience with in-engine implementation of characters and animations (UE 5)

  • Attention to detail and enthusiasm for game development

  • Worked on at least one commercial project (released)

  • Good communication skills

  • Good German and English language skills

Nice to have

​

  • Experience with 2D and sprite animation

  • Experience with cloth and hair simulation

  • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite

  • Comfortable with Git, JIRA and Confluence
