We are currently looking for a highly motivated Process & Accounting Analyst Finance (M/F/D) to join our Finance team in Meiningen, Munich, or Berlin.

Principle duties and essential functions:

The Process & Accounting Analyst Finance (M/F/D) has very good project skills and a deep understanding of processes in Finance. In this roll the Process & Accounting Analyst Finance (M/F/D) assures the smooth running of the Finance projects and furthermore is responsible for documentation and improvement of business processes. In addition, you will carry out special tasks in the area of accounting on a backup basis. If you want to be a part of our journey to connect the world, consider applying.

Support of Adtran' s Finance processes and applications
Main contact for process documentation and improvements within the Finance area
Evaluate and implement process improvements which enable the optimization of Adtrans Finance business processes resulting in efficiency gains in Adtran’s Shared Service Centers
Support in improvements and documentations of SOX-controls in Accounting department
Assistance with process and application harmonization for the merger with Adtran US
Support solutions to interact with other partners (e.g. government agency, auditors, consultants)

Other tasks and responsibilities:

Project Management in case of leading and supporting sub-projects
Management and Guarantee of sufficient documentations (e.g. Knowledge bibles, change descriptions, user instructions, training material)
Professionalism and loyalty in consultancy services
Backup for some business-processes in the area of incoming invoices, fixed assets and month close procedures

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

University degree with focus on Finance, Business Applications and Processes, Computer Sciences or equivalent
Able to communicate effectively in English
Well trained communication and presentation skills
First experience in international IT-projects
Analytical capabilities and application/ tool affinity
Knowledge of SAP or S4 HANA
Initial experience with internal audit, especially SOX
2 – 5 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment
IFRS experience, US GAAP Experience is preferred

Aufgaben:

Der Process & Accounting Analyst Finance (M/W/D) verfügt über sehr gute Projektkenntnisse und ein tiefes Verständnis der Prozesse im Finanzbereich. In dieser Rolle sorgt der Process & Accounting Analyst Finance (M/W/D) für den reibungslosen Ablauf der Finance-Projekte und ist darüber hinaus für die Dokumentation und Verbesserung der Geschäftsprozesse verantwortlich. Darüber hinaus übernehmen Sie unterstützend spezielle Aufgaben im Bereich des Rechnungswesens. Wenn Sie ein Teil unserer Reise sein wollen, um die Welt zu verbinden, sollten Sie sich bewerben.

Unterstützung der Finanzprozesse und -anwendungen von Adtran
Hauptansprechpartner für Prozessdokumentation und verbesserungen im Finanzbereich
Evaluierung und Implementierung von Prozessverbesserungen, die die Optimierung von Adtrans Finance-Geschäftsprozessen ermöglichen und zu Effizienzsteigerungen in Adtrans Shared Service Centern führen
Unterstützung bei der Verbesserung und Dokumentation von SOX-Kontrollen in der Finanzabteilung
Unterstützung bei der Prozess- und Anwendungsharmonisierung für die Fusion mit Adtran US
Unterstützung von Lösungen zur Interaktion mit anderen Partnern (z.B. Behörden, Wirtschaftsprüfer, Berater)

Sonstige Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten:

Projektmanagement zur Leitung und Unterstützung von Teilprojekten
Verwaltung und Sicherstellung ausreichender Dokumentationen (z.B. Wissensbibeln, Änderungsbeschreibungen, Bedienungsanleitungen, Schulungsunterlagen)
Professionalität und Loyalität bei Beratungsleistungen
Unterstützung bei einigen Geschäftsprozessen in den Bereichen Eingangsrechnungen, Anlagevermögen und Monatsabschlussverfahren

Anforderungen:

Hochschulabschluss mit Schwerpunkt Finanzen, Betriebswirtschaft, Informatik oder gleichwertig
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
Gute Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten
Erste Erfahrungen in internationalen IT-Projekten
Analytische Fähigkeiten und Anwendungs-/Toolaffinität
SAP oder S4 HANA Kenntnisse
Erste Erfahrungen mit der internen Revision, insbesondere SOX
2 - 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Rechnungswesen, vorzugsweise in einem internationalen Umfeld
IFRS Erfahrung, US GAAP Erfahrung wird bevorzugt
