DB International Operations, headquartered in Berlin, is an integral part of the Deutsche Bahn Group. Our core mission is to acquire, mobilize, and proficiently manage rail operations and maintenance projects beyond the borders of Europe. We specialize in constructing railway enterprises from the ground up, meticulously steering both quality and performance, and effectively disseminating industry best practices to our global clientele and partners.

We are looking for you as Senior Commercial Manager for International Railway Projects (f/m/d) for DB International Operations GmbH located in Berlin as soon as possible.
Your tasks:

• You ensure contract-compliant and success-oriented offer calculations for international operation and maintenance tenders
• You will drive the development of commercial models for cooperation with customers and partners with regard to scope, profit, risk and governance distribution in operational projects in coordination with the relevant Group units (M&A, Accounting)
• With a view to financial aspects (e.g. risk assessment and evaluation of investment options), you will support the evaluation of opportunities for international operations and maintenance projects
• You are responsible for the structure, management and governance of the international operating companies in all commercial matters as well as monitoring the preparation of medium-term planning and regular reporting
• You play a leading role in merging costing components and checking the plausibility of deliveries and offer assumptions
• You assume responsibility for the implementation of highly complex corporate transactions in an international context as well as a technical management role for employees in the commercial departments of local operating companies (OpCo)

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, law or a comparable course of study, ideally with an international specialization
• You can demonstrate several years of professional experience in tender and contract management, procurement and international projects
• Knowledge of corporate controlling as well as experience in working with tax consultants and auditors characterize you
• Your experience in the development and negotiation of cooperation and participation models and contracts is well-founded
• We require business fluent English skills for communication with international process participants as well as good German skills (at least B1)
• A high level of commitment & customer orientation, willingness to travel worldwide (30-40%) as well as a confident handling of the common MS Office applications round off your profile
