Job Description

• Developing state-of-the-art technology portfolio based on CT strategic needs
• Linking new technology exploration to existing product portfolio needs
• Executing prototyping to drive technology demonstrators to MVP level and beyond
• Developing specific technology to maturity to become a platform technology
• Evaluating the technology boundaries relevant to the CT product portfolio
• Ensuring quality process and audit conformity for ContiTech embedded software projects
• Leading projects and steering external service partners
• Initiating further research activities to explore the new technology for CT based on needs of Tech Center
• Maintaining relationships to research organizations, universities and startups for the respective technology area
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop product requirements and ensure that software designs meet those requirements
• Developing software architecture and design documents
• Managing multiple software development projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Technical or natural academic degree with several years in technical role
• Embedded development in C/C++ for bare-metal systems and embedded operating systems
• Wired and wireless communication protocols: CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, Bluetooth LE, WiFi, LoRa, etc
• Secure data storage and transmission
• Communication and change management
• Testing and continuous integration (hardware-in-the-loop) for embedded devices
• Participation in multiple embedded software projects
• Development and agile method experience
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Wllingness to travel (approx. 10 %)
