The section IT Business Solutions Reinsurance P&C delivers business value through management of IT products including execution of change projects, and delivery of agile IT product management, application development and IT operational support. The product and project portfolio of IT Business Solutions Reinsurance P&C covers all underwriting, pricing and claims management solutions for all Non-Life Reinsurance lines of business.

 

To complement our teams of recognized IT experts, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals. The section IT Business Solutions Reinsurance P&C is holding the worldwide IT account management for Non-Life Reinsurance Underwriting as well as the responsibility for maintenance and development of the corresponding IT systems, in particular the Underwriting Platform, Exposure Management Platform and systems supporting Facultative & Corporate business.

 

We are looking for a Product Manager for the complete lifecycle of former Business Managed Applications supporting underwriting processes.

 

This position will be located in Munich.

 

Your Job

• Transition and Run responsibility for former Business Managed Applications in close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical architecture
• Conducting and updating Standard Assurance and Compliance certifications, and checking that the products are running secure and compliant including all aspects of VAIT
• Creation and maintenance of all necessary product documentation supporting the complete compliance and run lifecycle of the IT products
• Management of the related IT products with respect to product costs, budgeting and charging
• Management of software licenses needed for the products
• Management of IT sourcing activities to enable run services for the products
• Updating all information to run and develop the complete product spectrum including SLAs
• Ensuring the stable run of the products, including setup and management of run, support, incident and monitoring processes aligned with the needs of the business, escalation and management of solutions for major incidents
• Constant check of incident volume including root causes and infrastructure settings to setup necessary improvement measures

 

Your Profile

• University degree, preferably in Computer Engineering / IT or similar qualification
• Several years of experience with IT product management in a complex IT landscape
• Several years of experience in IT application development and hence in-depth knowledge of the entire software development and product life cycle
• Strong experience and willingness to create and maintain all necessary product documentation in a structured way
• Track record of successful implementations that delivered value to the business
• Strong experience in the management of diverging interests of various stakeholders, ability to set priorities in a pragmatic and efficient way
• Demonstrable experience with requirements engineering including use cases, UML, and user stories
• Experience with agile project management including leading teams and being responsible for all financial aspects
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Consulting and collaborative working style creating a culture of accountability and sharing
• A high degree of commitment and the willingness and ability to master the various tasks
• Fluent spoken and written English as well as willingness to travel internationally
