Safety Engineer Aviation (m/f/d)

What to expect:

  • Support to Safety Manager in preparation, conduct and close follow-on actions for safety meetings
  • Generate and review Safety Assessment and Analyses for Aircraft Systems (FHA, pSSA, SSA, FTA, Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments)
  • Support the Safety manager/ System Design Teams/ Suppliers to ensure the compliance against the safety objectives
  • Generate and manage safety-derived requirements through the development life cycle
  • Analysis based on Systems Engineering management tools (e.g. DOORS)
  • Conduct reviews of safety artefacts
  • Support to Safety Manager in legislation compliance activities
 

What you bring along:

  • Aerospace, Electronics Engineer or equivalent
  • Knowledge in Aircraft Systems
  • Proven Knowledge of Safety processes, regulations and guidelines (e.g. Mil-Std 882, ARP 4754A, Def-Stan 00-56, IEC 61508 and ISO 26262)
  • Preferrable knowledge in tools like Reliability Workbench (e.g. DOORS)
  • Preferrable knowledge in design and development of defence related projects
  • Preferrable knowledge in Requirements-Based-Engineering (RBE) and Model-Based-Systems-Engineering (MBSE)
  • Professional oral and written communication skills in English – additional German language skills preferred
