We, the BMW Group, offer you a unique and varied internship in the area of BMW Brand Management, KOL, Brand and Entertainment Collaborations. Moreover, you will gain valuable insight not only in marketing but other divisions of the global playing company (Konzern) BMW. 

 

The core content of the area is the ideation, strategic development, implementation and management of partnerships in the field of key opinion leaders (KOL)/digital creators/influencers, music, brand and entertainment collaborations on a global level. This is a multipurpose role that involves strengthening the positioning of the BMW brand, model brand awareness and rejuvenate its target groups.

What awaits you?       

               

  • Take part in partner selection, strategy, conception and implementation support for brand and entertainment cooperations
  • Take part in the daily business including market correspondence, studio/partner talks, conception of the creative ideas and implementation
  • Talent selection and creative conception for social media (for BMW owned and influencer channels)
  • Support in the communicative activation, preparation and organization of brand collaborations (do some research, which projects you might handle😊) . across all channels (content creation, VIP events, online and social media, advertising, PR etc.), in cooperation with the relevant interfaces
  • Research and tracking of various communicative measures (e.g. trend scouting, event KPIs, media reach, etc.)
  • Contributing to the visual and content design of internal and external collaborations (e.g. presentations and communicative media such as films, invitations, etc.)
  • Coordination of administrative activities with internal and external partners (e.g. vehicle management, ticket overviews, room bookings, travel costs etc.)
  • Special projects the that will challenge you with as part of Gen Z

 
What should you bring along?             

                                              

  • Above-average interest in (fashion/luxury/lifestyle) brands, entertainment, influencer/KOL and zeitgeist topics
  • A sense for trends and have ‘seen the world’ in some way
  • Creative storytelling and innovative mindset
  • Empathic personality with high co-creation and collaboration strength
  • Degree in International Marketing, Communication Studies, or Culture Marketing ideally with focus on brand management, digital communications, events or a comparable course of study                            
  • Second half diploma/bachelor's degree or master's degree.                   
  • First practical experience in marketing, events, or agencies.
  • Openness to support the team with creative projects and at the same time operative tasks
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Photoshop                          
  • Driver's license                          
  • Fluent in German and English, other language skills are an advantage           
  • Teamwork and communication skills              
  • Structured way of working                   
  • Shows Initiative
  • Experience with brand management or agency tools  and/or working with luxury and premium brands and talent management is a plus
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills paired with a structured, reliant and forward-thinking work ethic
