Internship in the Strategic Purchasing of Warehouse Logistics Services
Aufgaben
For our central department for purchasing of logistics services at our location in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, we are looking for interested and motivated interns starting from 01.072024 for a 6-month internship. Our department is responsible for the purchasing of external logistics services like transports (airfreight, seafreight, overland transports), packaging materials and warehouses for the Bosch Group worldwide. Our headquarter in Stuttgart-Feuerbach is steering the global organization and defining the purchasing strategies. We offer an international and innovative working environment, a strategic overview, and a high number of interfaces to internal and external business partners.
- From day one you will support the further development of the purchasing organization regarding the strategic and future-oriented direction of an international logistics purchasing department.
- You will create transport and cost analyzes, support our digitization strategy and work on the development of automated purchasing processes (Robotic Process Automation).
- You will take responsibility for projects in the area of purchasing processes, purchasing controlling and the development of standards.
- Furthermore, you will contribute your knowledge and work out improvements and adjustments to existing processes or present new developments of internal standards.
- You will be also an important team player in strategic internal and external projects.
- Last but not least, you will support for our global and regional buyers in Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and India.
Profil - Education: studies in the field of (Technical) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Development, Mathematics with a specific focus on Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), experience with Power BI or comparable IT solutions would be a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: independent, structured, conscientious, communicative, flexible and resilient
- Languages: very good in English, basic in German is a plus
