Stellenbeschreibung

As a Data Architect for our team, I am a key player in delivering real impact in digitizing the travel experience of numerous clients of the Lufthansa Group. I drive initiatives across the Digital Hangar and pioneer new approaches and ideas to deliver the next era of digitially enhanced travelling.

  • I collaborate with Data Architects and Engineers across the our value streams to execute initiatives that improve processes
  • I review the Data Architecture in the Digital Hangar and look for opportunities to optimize and improve products
  • I evaluate technology trends and provide guidance on opportunities and risks
  • I work with other CoPs to enable end-to-end solution design
  • I work pragmatically and support my team
  • I champion best practices, guidelines and standards for data architecture
  • I enable and contribute to our ongoing roadmap, ensuring our targets are in line with business needs
  • I share my knowledge with CoP members through trainings, knowledge sharing and supporting growth opportunities
  • I mentor junior members of the community to help them grow
  • I lead community building activities

Ihr Profil:

  • I have at least 4 years of experience as a Data Architect
  • Experience in working agile in cross-functional teams
  • Experience as a developer/architect in data management
  • A track record in building data sets and pipelines for analytical use cases
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, data science libraries (Pandas, PySpark, etc.), Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboard development
  • Understanding of data science/machine learning
  • Ambition to master also unstructured data and datasets
  • Willingness to share knowledge and promote cooperation
  • Willingness to expand my comfort zone by sometimes leaving it
  • Fundamental understanding of GDPR
  • Strong networking skills, cultural competence and team-building skills
  • Public speaking and communications skills
  • Very good command of English language
