Ensure compliance with tax, labor, and corporate obligations, as well as efficiently manage treasury and financial planning. Additionally, oversee payroll preparation, meet tax obligations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the implementation of the corporate risk framework to promote a culture of awareness and compliance, including identifying, evaluating, and mitigating operational and market risks, as well as designing strategies for their management.
Overview:

Ensure compliance with fiscal, labor, and corporate obligations in Kiwa CYD’s operation, providing detailed financial analysis to support managerial decisions.

Treasury:

  • Prepare cash flow to meet company’s financial obligations.
  • Schedule payments to suppliers.
  • Monitor collections.

Payroll:

  • Prepare payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with labor obligations (IESS, Ministry of Labor).
  • Process salary and benefits payments to employees via banking platform and accounting system.

Tax:

  • File monthly tax declarations (income tax, VAT, others).
  • File annual income tax declaration.

Financial Accounting:

  • Submit monthly report by the end of the first business day.
  • Compare results vs. Budget and analyze deviations with explanatory notes.

Financial Planning:

  • Participate in and control annual budget.
  • Participate in and control quarterly forecast.

Risk and Internal Control:

  • Assist in implementing Kiwa’s corporate risk framework, including formulating procedures and controls tailored to each office.
  • Collaborate in conducting financial, operational, and legal control tests and identifying operational and market risks.
  • Contribute to designing strategies to mitigate identified risks and promoting a culture of risk awareness and compliance through training programs.

Responsabilities:

  • Certified accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, internal control, and/or risk management positions.
  • English proficiency level B1/B2 mandatory.
  • Experience in multinational environments is valued.
