What we are looking for:

To help us on our mission, we are looking for a talented and highly ambitious Head of Commercial to join our team. This senior leadership position is designed for a visionary commercial leader ready to harness the dynamic APAC market. You will be responsible for designing and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth and enhance our competitive presence across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is pivotal in steering AnyDesk’s commercial strategies and operations while ensuring synergy across various departments to achieve optimal performance and market penetration. 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with AnyDesk’s global objectives and local market nuances. Drive business growth across diverse APAC markets through direct and indirect distribution channels. 
  • Review and streamline sales processes and targets to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Consolidate regional sales plans and oversee their execution, ensuring they meet the strategic business goals. 
  • Enhance the end-to-end customer experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ensure that all customer touchpoints are optimized to deliver maximum value and satisfaction. 
  • Establish robust analysis, benchmarking, and measurement frameworks in conjunction with the Finance and Strategy departments. Leverage data-driven insights for strategic decision-making and resource allocation. 
  • Provide feedback on the regional marketing strategies, balancing creative and commercial aspects to meet the market demands and company objectives. Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales targets and operate within budget. 
  • Operationalize and refine the sales strategy tailored to product offerings. Ensure that the sales teams are aligned with product development and corporate strategies to maximize product impact in the market. 
  • Work closely with senior leadership and strategic departments to develop and maintain comprehensive sales initiatives that support AnyDesk’s corporate goals. 
  • Define the annual resource plan based on strategic priorities, territory design, distribution strategy, and customer segmentation. .  

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in a senior commercial role, with demonstrated success in sales management and strategy implementation. 
  • Demonstrable experience in scaling business operations and driving sales growth, particularly in the Asia-Pacific market. 
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to make informed business decisions and improve strategic planning. 
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and lead diverse teams across multiple countries. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively presenting ideas and strategies to stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Strong understanding of and sensitivity to diverse cultures, especially within the APAC region, with the ability to tailor strategies to local markets. 

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in the software or technology industry, especially with SaaS products. 
  • Fluency in additional languages prevalent in the APAC region 
  • Experience in forging and maintaining strategic partnerships and alliances within the APAC region. 
  • Experience in leading teams through periods of significant technological change or product launches. 
  • Strong background in financial modeling and budget management, with experience working closely with finance and strategy departments. 
  • Previous role(s) requiring the management of cross-border teams or projects in diverse international settings.
