In this role, you will

• Be an active member of our self-empowered team
• Have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in data analysis and machine learning by enhancing and optimizing the team's services using AI. You will be responsible for not only implementing theoretical approaches to AI, but also influencing and participating in the overall product realization
• Eagerly learn and develop new skills, to tackle challenging tasks and will actively participate in addressing non-functional requirements such as security, continuous integration, and process improvement
• Work in a German-speaking yet culturally diverse scrum team and “cloud mindset” and “New Work” will not be just buzzwords to you

What you bring

• After graduating, you have gained at least 3 years of professional experience in data science, and it is your calling
• You have a strong cloud and agile mindset and the ambition to support our customers in the best feasible way
• You are eager to be part of a strong, diverse team where we support each other - within the team and across team borders 

Furthermore, you have the following qualifications: 

• Strong programming abilities  
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, R, and SQL 
  • Experience in AI-focused cloud/container application development (Kubernetes, Docker) 
  • Experience with REST APIs using frameworks such as Spring, Flask, FastAPI, etc. 
  • Hands-on UI-Development with React 
  • Solid knowledge of modern software development principles  
  • Experience in software productization, from design thinking methods to dev ops task would be beneficial
• Machine learning & data engineering expertise
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, frameworks, and related libraries (PyTorch, Hugging Face) 
  • Experience with data processing and management (Spark/PySpark) 
• Soft Skills: 
  • Ability to excel within an agile and self-managed, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills (German & English) 
  • Excellent analytical skills

We (Customer Experience & Solutions) are 30+ scrum teams, developing our solutions with modern agile methods on state-of-the-art technology. Our "Service and Support Data Lake (SSDL) solutions" aim to use AI to optimize customer support and services by leveraging the vast amount of data we have, including system landscapes, usage data, KBAs, notes, and data from service and support offerings. The scrum team which is looking for an ambitious colleague is responsible for the SSDL Metadata Browser. This application enables our stakeholders to explore, understand and evaluate the data available in the SSDL. Data analysis and ML shall now ease identification and implementation of new use cases based on those data.
