This helps us to fully understand customer behaviors and enhancements that will add the biggest value to our customers.
Our main eB2B Platforms are:
• eB2B solution for CCH customers (live in 26 countries and 220k+ registered customers which makes it the biggest eB2B Platform in EU);
• eMarketplace solution for HoReCa channel;
• eB2B/D2C solution for Egypt Market.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB:
As a QA Automation Engineer in the e-Commerce & Digital services area, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that high Quality standards are met during the implementation of end-to-end solutions. Your expertise in automation testing and Playwright framework will be critical in increasing our testing coverage and efficiency, thus actively contributing to the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet the expectations of our customers and business stakeholders.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for automation testing and involved in quality assurance initiatives and activities end-to-end
- Perform manual testing activities on our desktop and mobile web application to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain and improve a quality-focused automation framework
- Automate and maintain cross-browser and cross-device regression tests for Customer Portal (B2B - SAP Commerce)
- Monitor the daily automation pipeline and execute the automation suite according to the project needs
- Identify defects & bugs and work closely with developers to resolve them
- Bug lifecycle management (reporting, tracking, escalation, verification) by using tracking tools
- Foster a culture of Quality Assistance, where quality is a shared responsibility among all team members
- Contribute to the documentation on automation testing practices, environments, and tools
- Work closely with the QA Lead to maintain up-to-date knowledge on quality processes and documentation
- Cooperate regularly with the BA, PO and Development team (DEVs and QAs) to clarify the expected QA deliverables.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- University Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Tester working on high-availability web platforms.
- 2+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer.
- Experience with Playwright is mandatory.
- A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with other automation tools is a plus (Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress).
- Programming skills in Typescript (highly preferred) or Javascript.
- Solid understanding of the CI/CD pipeline and integrating test automation to support stages of the pipeline.
- Experience in working in agile software development teams.
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate efficiently with business stakeholders, developers and QAs.
- ISTQB Certification is highly recommended.
