Our Clinical Project Management team is looking for an experienced Clinical Project Manager (m/f/d)  - fixed term 18 months.

Work location: Griesheim, Germany.

How you’ll add value

The Clinical Project Manager (m/f/d) will work in close cooperation with cross functional groups ensuring that projects are conducted in compliance with appropriate protocol, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory agency guidelines, in a timely, efficient, and quality manner.

The role will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing client relationships.

What you’ll do

  • You serve as the primary client contact for assigned project(s) and ensures that all customer expectations are documented and acted upon in compliance with regulatory requirements. 

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of performance metrics. 

  • Creating required project plans. 

  • You will define and manage project resource needs and establishes succession plans for key resources. 

  • Ensures the development of a competent workforce to meet growth plans as well as the consistent implementation, use and review of SOPs. 

  • Monitors project schedule and scope to ensure both remain on track. 

  • Proactively engages in both quality assurance and risk management activities to ensure project deliverables are met according to both Azenta Life Sciences and client requirements. 

  • Participates in developing solutions and assisting in the sales process as needed. 

  • Establishes working relationships with client project teams which result in client satisfaction, operational excellence and thereby increase potential for repeat business. 

  • Actively participates in Azenta Life Sciences development through continuous process improvement, quality and productivity. 

  • Participates in pre-sale discussion. 

  • Presents sponsor investigator meeting and/or on site visit as requested by the sponsor. 

  • Effectively communicates management strategies, policies and procedures in conjunction with leadership teams. 

  • Ensure the seamless integration of the global project management services. 

  • Travel activity up to 10 %.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master`s Degree required (Biology or Life Sciences). 
  • Strong experience and professional background in project management. 
  • Familiar with formal process improvement disciplines (Lean, Six Sigma). 
  • Certified CSPO, CSM, PMP. 
  • Very good experience working in a FDA and GxP regulated environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to act efficiently in an environment with dynamic timelines and priorities. 
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and successful project completion. 
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, strong ability to supervise projects and a consultative approach to managing client relationships. 
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders of internal and external organizations. 
  • Fluent in English and German.
