Ihre Aufgaben:

• Synthetisieren, Entwicklung, HPLC-Validierung, Qualitätskontrollen, Radiolabeling, Stabilitätsvalidierung und Etablierung  von 68Ga- und 225Ac-markierten DOTA-RezeptorLiganden sowie von [68Ga]-FF58 im Rahmen der Studie Phase I, open label, multicenter study to evaluate the imaging performance, safety, biodistribution and dosimetry of [68Ga]-FF58 in adult patients with selected solid tumors expected to overexpress αvβ3 and αvβ5 integrins

Ihr Profil:

• Ph.D. in Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry or related fields with experience in PET radiochemistry and radiotracer synthesis
• Experience in programing production sequences on modern synthesis platforms, preferably Trasis Allinone, GE Fastlab and Modular-Lab Eazy modules, reaction optimization and purification methods
• Excellent knowledge in the development of quality control procedures (TLC, HPLC, GC)
• Working experience with short-lived radionuclides, covalent labelling procedures as well as radiometal chemistry (experience with peptides and proteins would be advantageous)
• Good knowledge of cGMP guidelines
• Excellent communication skills and good command of English in both, oral and written form are a prerequisite
• Ability and commitment to work flexibly, under pressure and to deadline

• The successful candidate will become a part of an interdisciplinary group working in the field of Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry and PET imaging focused on the development of novel oncological tracers (e.g. 68Ga-, 177Lu-, 225Ac- and 18F-labelled compounds). The position requires an ambitious, self-motivated and proactive individual, to perform the translation of radioorganic syntheses into fully automated production methods in accordance to cGMP requirements. The project will also include the development of novel radiosynthesis methodology, product formulation and quality control procedures.
• The Department of Nuclear Medicine performs routine diagnostics via innovative imaging modalities, especially including PET/MRI, PET/CT and SPECT/CT and carries out cutting-edge research in the area of molecular imaging and radioisotope-based therapies together with leading basic research groups from the Department of Oncology and Cardiology. In addition, the Department of Nuclear Medicine has a preclinical imaging program and is equipped with a state-of-the-art small animal PET/CT which was installed in 2018. The unit acts as a core-facility and intends to develop and offer pre-clinical imaging services to a broader community of internal and external researchers.
