Responsibilities

The position is based within our Relationship management team of Global Banking & Advisory (GLBA).

               The department consists of two main areas: Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions coverage with Corporate and FI Senior Banker and Relationship Manager.

·         Perform Economic and Financial analysis on Key clients and prospects

·       Structuring and implementation of loans with coverage, notably calculation of profitability, review of loan documentation with clients, legal advisers and business lines, implementation of loans liaising with back-office

·       Management of data on revenues and assets on the portfolio of clients (review, control, forecast and reporting), and management of the internal client database referential for this portfolio

·       Prepare presentation and marketing materials for use in client meetings and transaction execution, covering topics such as financing alternatives, capital markets activity, capital structure advice, treasury services and derivatives

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

·         Graduate with a Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance or Business

·         A previous experience (e.g., internships) in banking or finance, as this is a prerequisite and no training on that basic knowledge will be provided

Language skills:

·         Fluent in English (B2-C1)

·         Fluent in German (B2-C1)

·         French language skills could be helpful, but are not necessary

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

·         Excellent command of MS Office

·         Good communication and presentation skills

·         The position required literacy in reading company's accounts/annual reports, and no training will be provided on this

 

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Germany is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
