To strengthen our team, we are looking for a proactive Credit Controller to become part of the Credit Collection team in Breda, where many efficiency improvements are currently being made.

What you will do

Within the Credit Collection team (3), you are responsible for more than 18,000 customers worldwide and deal with more than 15 different entities. Different cultures, time zones, and communication styles add extra dynamism to this process. You are responsible for various debtor portfolios, each with its challenges. You prevent items from remaining open for too long and assess customers' creditworthiness. You follow up on outstanding invoices daily by telephone and in writing, with the ultimate goal of establishing a good relationship with a paying customer. For this, you will also be in daily contact with various internal teams (mostly Sales), nationally and internationally, and management.

You inventory, classify and handle outstanding disputes. In addition, the general inbox does not stand still, and here too, you ensure order and regularity. Furthermore, there is room for implementing improvement processes and optimizing procedures and reports.

In short, a broad, challenging role in which you juggle many balls and act as the link between the various departments and entities and the customer. We use OnGuard as credit system and Unit4 for financial administration. 

Job requirements

You connect with us, if you:

  • Bachelor's degree in for instance  (commercial) economics, hotel managment, business administration, etc. 
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a credit controller/Manager, accounts receivable clerk, or a similar function;
  • Proficient in Excel and analytically strong;
  • Hands-on mentality: you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and achieving success together with your colleagues;
  • Flexible and enjoy working in a fast-changing work environment;
  • Communicatively strong, both in Dutch and English written and spoken;
  • Available for at least 32 hours per week;
  • Living in travel distance of our office in Breda (HQ)
