Overview:
The position is responsible for the overall product management including launching new products introduction, modifying existing products, technical documentation, product performance evaluation, competition product analysis, third party and internal testing of products, training to sales team. The Product Manager is working closely with the Target Market team & R&D to ensure timely resolution of any product related technical issues
in line with customer needs and overall company strategy and goals. As the product owner & responsible for the whole life cycle of the products sales, operation & business so on.
He is also the project leader of the company for the product development & promotion for retail channel business segment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implementation of development strategy and plan for the company's Lay-up product based on our brand development strategy.
  • Establishing an information collection system and analysis model for competitive product, business model, industry development analysis, and technology innovation. Communication with industry associations and provision of analysis reports to management should be conducted regularly, modifying planning and coordination of all product channels.
  • Planning and driving marketing projects related to products including maintenance of positive communication and interaction with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to ensure the achievement of expected goals.
  • Full lifecycle management of products, including new product introduction and development based on market demand, optimization of product by analysing the usage of new products from customer feedback, and establishment of standardized processes for qualified products and obsolescence procedure for products that do not meet market demand.
  • Establishment of product SKU files and reporting of the latest information of SKUs to management  & relevant personnel regularly (monthly/quarterly) .
  • Organization of regular product and PDC meetings. Development of work plans based on meeting resolutions for regular review and reporting to management in a timely manner.
  • Annual budget for the tile laying product and controlling its use in an effective manner.
  • Responsible for building and operating the Craftsman Membership Platform. Enhancement of brand loyalty among a large number of member craftsmen through our membership system, content marketing and promotion, honor system, etc.
  • Completion of other tasks assigned by superiors.
  • Develop and implement product strategies that align with the overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats and make informed decisions on product positioning.

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Bachelor's degree or above in marketing or a related field.
  • 10 years of work experience in product marketing. Experience in Paint Industry in retail channel products is a plus.                           
  • Experience in the management of product with annual sales exceeding one billion RMB. Proficiency in product lifecycle &process management and team management.
  • Strong communication and learning capabilities with proficiency in office software.
  • Demonstrated innovative and insightful thinking.
  • Possession of excellent adaptability, communication, coordination, and conclusion skills, along with an insightful and analytical thinking.
  • Capacity to handle pressure, adapt to a fast-paced work environment, and openness to business travel.
