Position Overview:

We are searching for an extremely motivated high-energy experienced team player who shares a passion for helping sales representatives advance their sales skills and achieve their goals.  The Sales Trainer (Coach) will design and deliver training programs for our client assigned sales development and sales account executive teams. The Sales Trainer’s responsibilities include conducting skills gap analyses, preparing learning materials and evaluating results after each training session. This role is critical to ensure the success of our clients, and most importantly, our valued team members. By cultivating a high-performance culture, you will enable the ability to exceed our client goals and expectations and accelerate business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and organize effective sales training programs on sales methodologies, skills, processes, tools and products for sales reps and managers across client programs.
  • Deliver engaging training programs to new and existing client sales reps and leaders in a virtual remote environment leveraging video conferencing platforms (Zoom or MS Teams)
  • Analyze, design, develop and evaluate training solutions, including interactive instructor-led courses and self-instruction online-based learning modules.
  • Develop operating process documentation and/or improve quality standards and KPI benchmarks per individual client program in support of training.
  • Develop and implement a leadership coaching curriculum and high-performance management framework.
  • Review and track the effectiveness of sales coaching by identifying core metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and measuring performance accordingly.
  • Collaborate with client Operations, Team Leads, and Managers to diagnose performance challenges, identifying knowledge gaps and organizing subsequent training to close those gaps.

 

Requirements:

  • 4 years’ experience in a Digital Remote or Inside Sales role (required)
  • 2 years’ experience leading a Digital Remote or Inside Sales team (required)
  • 2 years’ experience in a dedicated Sales Training or similar role (required)
  • Technology sector (Fintech, SaaS, PaaS) industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRM, Sales Engagement technology (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, Chorus) and sales process (BANT, MEDDPICC, Challenger)
  • Experience applying lead generation methodologies and selling complex solutions with a consistent record of achieving goals, retaining accounts and gaining positive feedback
  • Self-starter with discipline to work independently and prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Hands-on experience delivering a remote-based virtual sales training curriculum (via Zoom or MS Teams) and implementing a competency-based framework.
  • Strong coaching acumen to deliver group and 1:1 sessions to both reps and leadership
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner, listen attentively to others and offer guidance and support to team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, presentation skills and a great sense of humor
  • Knowledge and experience leveraging the latest technology to create training content.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or professional sales training certification
  • 20% travel may be required for leadership meetings etc.
