Teamlead Metallurgy (m/w/d)

Familiarization with primary lead and zinc production and analysis of synergy potentials
Conducting own projects in collaboration with the site and Corporate
Identification of missing information and development of new methods/measures to obtain it
Plant and process flow analysis to identify improvement potentials
Development of experimental concepts and planning of laboratory and industrial trials in the field of polymetallic material processing
Preparation of mass and energy balances and evaluation of existing and new processes
Responsibility/leadership for a project team consisting of technicians and engineers
Project management: ideation, planning, and execution, as well as preparation and presentation of project, study, and test reports
Validation of metallurgical concepts

Completed university degree in metallurgy, chemical engineering, or a related field, preferably with a PhD
Minimum of five years of industry experience in metallurgy or process engineering, with at least two years of leadership experience
Knowledge in flowsheet simulation (HSC SIM), thermodynamics, or process modeling is desirable
Proficiency in project management (planning and implementation)
Enthusiasm for complex metallurgical topics
Structured and solution-oriented work approach combined with strong analytical skills
Resilience, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a high level of assertiveness
Self-responsibility, independence, and entrepreneurial thinking
Excellent MS Office skills
Excellent English language skills in both written and verbal communication
German skills to ensure effective communication is beneficial but not mandatory at a higher level
