Your challenge

The Hubject Financial Services GmbH is a new subsidiary of Hubject GmbH, which will provide payment services for eMobility providers. The new company will be supervised by BaFin, the German regulatory body, as a financial service provider. 
As a (Senior) Accountant, you are responsible for the accounting of our subsidiary and support invoicing and payment processes for our partners. You take an active role in optimizing our processes.

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the accounting of our subsidiary, including processing incoming invoices, bank and cash transactions, as well as credit card transactions;
• You support invoice generation and collections;
• You handle the reconciliation of intercompany transactions;
• You assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements;
• You ensure daily routines such as monitoring and reconciling payments;
• You document important financial processes and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in auditing and/or accounting, preferably in a rapidly growing B2B tech or SaaS environment;
• Strong general accounting knowledge according to HGB and familiarity with IFRS;
• Proficiency with accounting software, such as DATEV;
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
• Strong project management and analytical skills;
• Quality-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-focused.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for building something from the ground up and driving continuous improvements;
• Effective communication with stakeholders throughout the company, demonstrating the ability to explain complex topics in understandable terms.
