We are recruiting a technical project manager with experience in web development, cloud and K8s.

As you will be based in our client’s Berlin office 2-3 days per week preference will be given to candidates based in the Berlin area or within easy commuting distance. 

Exceptional EU-based candidates willing to travel regularly to Berlin may be considered. 

Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

• provide project-management, multifunctional coordination and communications to deliver project outcomes.
• Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering efficiency, as well as meeting project goals and objectives.
• Problem solving within fast-paced and constantly evolving environments, with the ability to bring order to ambiguous scenarios.
• Experience developing and launching products that require collaboration between internal cross-functional tech teams and external partner teams.
• Develop and own communication plans for communicating project status, big picture, challenges, and risks to partners effectively and proactively.
• Work with the other groups to gather requirements on network expansion and product roadmaps to ensure appropriate delivery of capacity, facilities and projects in support of broader group goals.
• Use and improve upon formal project management techniques including Agile methodologies

Preferred experience and qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience as a Project Manager with demonstrated ability in the networking, content provider or streaming industry.
• Exhibits strong project management skills, tracking and reporting on projects with defined timelines and expected results, including a proven record of resolving delays and sophisticated project dependency issues (time, resources, scope).
• Superb communication and organizational skills with the willingness and ability to work with multiple teams located in different timezones.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated, self-starter who can balance problems efficiently and keen to respond with the appropriate level of urgency to situations.
• Independent problem-solving skills and ability to run parallel tasks and accurately detail resolutions.
• Strong working experience with Project Management tools (i.e.,Atlassian suite), Agile and Scrum methodologies in leading technical projects.
• Ability to prioritize well and articulate your product roadmap across business functions and geographies, whether in small group discussions or large-scale presentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals incorporating external partners
• Experience working with video streaming and distributed services is a plus.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM certifications.
