About the role

As the Team Lead of Procurement (m/f/d) at Agile Robots, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic procurement plan, optimizing the supply chain, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations. This role is crucial to our success, as it will support the efficient and scalable growth of our business.

 

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Planning:

  • Develop and implement a strategic procurement plan aligned with the company's goals and growth objectives.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-added initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Optimize the end-to-end supply chain process to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize risks.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels while minimizing excess inventory and storage costs.
  • Implement sustainable and environmentally responsible procurement practices.

Supplier Management:

  • Evaluate, select, and onboard new suppliers based on their capabilities, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage relationships with existing suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical requirements in supplier relationships.

Cost Control and Budgeting:

  • Develop and manage the procurement budget, striving for cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement KPIs to track expenses, evaluate trends, and make data-driven decisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, production, and finance, to align procurement with overall business strategies.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop procurement strategies accordingly.

 

Your Profile

  • Min. 7 years of procurement and supply chain management experience, ideally within the robotics or tech industry
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, supply chain management, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven track record of negotiating and managing supplier contracts, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in procurement software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Knowledge of ethical and sustainable procurement practices
  • Business fluent English skills, good German skills are a plus
