We are scaling our Supply Chain capabilities for ALiCE® Production and seek a motivated and experienced team member to help us scale our Material Planning and Management, as well as global Product Logistics processes and delivery.
Your responsibilities- You will lead the scaling of our end-to-end Logistics processes, from Material planning through receiving and storage, final product Inventory Management, and global Logistics/ order fulfilment.
- Create procedures for the workflows listed above and ensure compliance with all regulations with a strong sense of Safety and Quality culture and execution.
- Evaluate Material and product handling, storage requirements, inventory, and shipping methods against Industry best practices. Define and implement improvements to processes that drive quality and efficiency, including the use of our digital solutions.
- Manage Material planning in support of our ongoing operation to ensure suitable Materials are available in the right quantities on time.
- Work with purchasing to expedite, reschedule, or revise material shipments to avoid production disruptions while preserving ideal stock levels.
- Identify and execute transportation strategies to deliver products to customers efficiently and on time globally.
- Manage carrier relationships, assist in carrier contract agreements and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates, terms and conditions.
- Be responsible for creating and maintaining all documentation required for local and international related transactions in compliance with domestic and foreign transportation regulations, as well as US Import/Export regulatory compliance.
- Participate in the selection & inventory oversight of third-party warehouses and vendors; assess vendor capabilities, develop sources, and evaluate vendor performance.
- Ensure together with a team that all outgoing orders are delivered on time and of the right quality, ensuring a robust cold chain process.
- Drive accuracy of inventory for Materials, Intermediate and Final good inventory.
- Work closely with Sales and Finance to reflect order flow and accounting (i.e., inventory reporting and order fulfilment tracking). Act as Master Data Owner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management, hands-on when needed in the warehouse or dock.
- Help solve day-to-day operational issues in a hands-on way.
- Perform and oversee administrative tasks as necessary.
