About the role:

We are looking for a Congress Event Project Manager – Logistics to join one of our global client dedicated teams. You will be primarily responsible for supplier management, including but not limited to supplier sourcing and communication, dine-arounds, ground transportation management, compliance and contracting documentation and post congress surveys.  You will be comfortable in guiding your stakeholders, enjoy negotiating, contracting and budget management alongside supplier relations. You thrive on juggling multiple projects, meeting and exceeding deadlines, you will also go onsite on occasion to support on some of the larger key congress events.

As a Congress Event Project Manager - Logisitcs, you will:

  • Primary client contact with regards to all logistical arrangements surrounding dine-arounds, airport transfers and ground transportation
  • Act as primary contact with suppliers; review all supplier proposals, contracts and invoices in accordance with client requirement and ensure all adhere to the required compliance / audit requirements
  • Ensure compliance is met for all services contracted
  • Preparation of printing materials and communication (internal / external) for all assigned events
  • Coordinate onsite job responsibilities with the onsite logistics team

You’re good at:

  • Managing multiple priorities and be adaptable to changing needs.
  • Consistently apply and demonstrate our expertise to our clients
  • Managing external vendors and suppliers – for sourcing, negotiating, contracting and event delivery
  • Establish great collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers
  • Proven planning and onsite operations experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications

You might also have:

  • Pharmaceutical compliance knowledge
  • Pharmaceutical event delivery experience
  • Proven Meeting Technology and Delegate registration knowledge and expertise
  • Event Management degree

You should know:

  • Remote role can be based in the UK or Spain, full time, Monday-Friday with some weekend travel on occasion (lieu time given).
  • Ability to travel onsite to events on occasion which may include international travel.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK or Spain.
