Senior Manager - Human Resource Operations

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Manager, HR Operations. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers great coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our business and its’ growth.

 

The HR Operations Manager will be responsible to support the identification and development of process excellence across various aspects including HR Policy, Projects, Information management, HR Transactional and Analytic people related services. The role performs a variety of administrative, information collection, reporting and people related support activities to support the delivery of day-to-day HR operations and special projects as well as providing timely and accurate employee support.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Support and coordinate the delivery of key HR processes outlined in HR calendar.
  • Provide coordination, administrative, project support and reporting relating to people initiatives and /or ad hoc people projects.
  • Oversee payroll processing, time and attendance tracking, and other related processes.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Overseeing payroll and performance evaluation systems.
  • Update our employment contracts and agreements. Ensure our recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain high quality and timely coordination of various workflows to achieve business milestones.
  • Develop and maintain networks and contacts within the HR Department to facilitate timely and coordinated responses to requests for information.
  • Assist in the provision of transactional and tactical HR support within group and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Handling the HR tasks in HR systems seamlessly.
  • Management of compliance and adherence to laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Undertaking HR operations involving efficient documentation of employees’ personal data.
  • Generating reports and analytics, which are essential for HR efficient decision-making.

 

Key requirements:

 

  • Possess at least diploma in Human Resource, Business Administration, another related course or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in human resource.
  • Strong working knowledge of Malaysian Employment Law and best practice
  • Possess working knowledge of Malaysia’s labour law.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Committed and result driven.
  • Has attention to details, analytical and good communication skills.
  • Good time management and is a deadline drive person
  • Punctuality
